Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PoolQuote.ai may collect, use, and protect information when visitors use the website, read guides, submit quote-related information, request an estimate email, request local quote review, or contact us.
Information we may collect
- Information you provide: such as ZIP code, project details, estimate selections, name, email address, phone number, preferred call window, budget comfort, timeline, notes, messages, or quote-review choices submitted through forms or quote flows.
- Estimate and routing information: such as service category, project option, material, estimate answers, selected resources, local match status, featured local option, featured brand, and consent text shown or submitted with a request.
- Technical information: such as browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URLs, approximate location, campaign identifiers and site usage data.
- Communication information: if you contact us or request an email, we may keep your message, email delivery status, related contact details, and support history so we can respond and maintain records.
How we may use information
- To operate and improve PoolQuote.ai.
- To show planning estimates, save estimate context, and email an estimate summary when requested.
- To share your project details with a matched local contractor or service provider only when you select a local quote-review, contractor-contact, or callback option.
- To include optional local partner, service-provider, brand, brochure, or planning-resource information in your results or estimate email. These options are for consideration only and do not require you to contact, choose, or purchase from a featured provider or brand.
- To understand which guides, pages, ads, and quote paths are useful.
- To respond to contact, privacy, editorial, homeowner, contractor, advertiser, or business inquiries.
- To prevent spam, abuse, fraud, duplicate submissions, or misuse of the site.
Contractors, brands, partners, and service providers
If you select a local quote-review, contractor-contact, or callback option, PoolQuote.ai may share your name, email address, project details, estimate summary, and, when you provide it for that purpose, your phone number and preferred call window with the matched local contractor or service provider so they can review the request and follow up. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
If you request only an emailed estimate copy, or if your ZIP or service path has no matched local contractor, PoolQuote.ai may email the estimate to you without sending your information to a contractor. Featured brand or brochure links may be included as planning resources, but unless we clearly say otherwise, PoolQuote.ai does not send your personal information to a manufacturer or brand just because a brand resource appears in your results or email.
We may also use service providers for hosting, analytics, forms, security, email delivery, database operations, advertising measurement, session replay, or website operations.
Email, phone, text, and marketing choices
When you submit an estimate request using your email address, PoolQuote.ai may send transactional or relationship emails related to that request, such as an estimate summary, quote-review confirmation, support response, or requested resource link. These messages identify PoolQuote.ai as the sender and include PoolQuote.ai contact information.
If you choose a phone, text, or callback option, PoolQuote.ai or the matched local contractor may contact you about that pool project using the contact information you provided. Message and data rates may apply for text messaging. You can reply STOP to text messages where supported or contact us for help with communication preferences.
If PoolQuote.ai sends promotional or marketing emails beyond the specific estimate or request you made, those emails should identify the sender, include our mailing/contact information, and provide a practical way to opt out of future marketing emails. Opting out of marketing emails does not prevent us from sending transactional, legal, security, or request-specific service messages.
Cookies, campaign attribution, and analytics
PoolQuote.ai may use cookies, browser storage, analytics tools, pixels, session-replay tools, or similar technologies to understand website usage, measure performance, improve pages, and support marketing or advertising. These technologies may collect or remember campaign information, referral details, selected service paths, device and browser information, approximate location, clicks, scrolling, navigation patterns, and related page activity so we can understand which pages, ads, and quote paths are useful.
We use Microsoft Clarity to help us understand how visitors interact with PoolQuote.ai through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replays. Microsoft may collect usage data through cookies and similar technologies and process that information as a service provider. Sensitive form fields are intended to be masked, but visitors should avoid entering sensitive personal information into open-text fields. Learn more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
When a campaign or advertising link includes an approved campaign code, PoolQuote.ai may store that attribution in a cookie and/or browser storage for up to 365 days. This preserves campaign context, supports analytics-ready events, and prepares future lead or advertiser routing without changing the public PoolQuote phone number. Browser and consent settings may allow you to limit, reject, or delete cookies and local storage, although some attribution or routing features may not work the same way.
Advertising, remarketing, and state privacy choices
PoolQuote.ai may use advertising platforms, analytics tools, conversion APIs, or remarketing tools, including Google-related advertising and measurement tools, to measure ads or deliver relevant messages. We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics, advertising, or remarketing activity may be considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under certain state privacy laws. You can use the cookie banner or preference controls to reject or customize non-essential analytics and advertising technologies where available.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of certain personal information, or to opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling activities. You can contact us through the Contact page to make a privacy request. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where permitted for security, legal, transactional, or business-record purposes.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for website operations, quote-related workflows, email delivery records, consent records, business records, legal compliance, security, analytics, and improvement of the site.
Your choices
You can use the cookie banner or its preference control to accept, reject, or customize non-essential analytics, session-replay, functional, and advertising technologies. You may also contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, marketing opt-out, or privacy questions related to information you provided, subject to applicable law and operational limitations.
Children’s privacy
PoolQuote.ai is intended for adults researching pool projects and is not directed to children under 13.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a developing website, but no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as PoolQuote.ai adds quote forms, contractor matching, analytics, advertising, or other features. Updates will be posted on this page.
